Bolton's Cottage was a great value for the money. The room was beautifully renovated, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area and the owners were friendly and helpful.

A fabulous find! A little bit of luxury with excellent finishes and fittings. The homely feel with relaxing, comfy sofas and extremely cosy beds made for the best sleep I had in months! The open plan layout was superb for shared family time. The cottage was incredibly well equipped with plenty of extras and little bits and bobs for ease and convenience. The owners were most welcoming, providing a fresh fruit bowl and milk on arrival. Parking was undercover, keeping the car cool on hot days. Lovely outside space to enjoy breakfast and the peace and quiet.

It would have been helpful to have a stool in the main bathroom. some hooks on the back of the doors to hang towels on would have been convenient.

The oven and baking/roasting trays needed a thorough cleaning. There was a strong smell of old fat when we turned on the oven, resulting in unpleasant smoke filling the house.
