A fabulous find! A little bit of luxury with excellent finishes and fittings. The homely feel with relaxing, comfy sofas and extremely cosy beds made for the best sleep I had in months! The open plan layout was superb for shared family time. The cottage was incredibly well equipped with plenty of extras and little bits and bobs for ease and convenience. The owners were most welcoming, providing a fresh fruit bowl and milk on arrival. Parking was undercover, keeping the car cool on hot days. Lovely outside space to enjoy breakfast and the peace and quiet.
Can't think of anything at all! The cottage had everything we needed and more, with no negatives to mention.

We had a great weekend at this cozy, well-appointed cottage. the location was perfect, with easy access to Oakham and Rutland Water for activities. the cottage itself was clean and modern, with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. the private courtyard was a lovely bonus, providing a relaxing spot to enjoy a few drinks in the evening. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, providing helpful advice when needed.
One minor issue was the lack of hooks on the back of the doors to hang towels on. It would have been more convenient to have a designated place to hang them.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in the heart of a historic village. The cottage itself was beautifully renovated, with a layout that was perfect for our group. The owners were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was convenient, with shops and pubs within walking distance. The outside space was lovely, and we enjoyed taking advantage of it when the weather allowed. we had a relaxing and comfortable experience at Bolton's Cottage.
The oven and baking/roasting trays needed a thorough cleaning. There was a strong smell of old fat when we turned on the oven, resulting in unpleasant smoke filling the house.
